How conviction is computed
Each ticker is scored from closing prices only — no news, no forecasts. Three agents start from a base and add or subtract points, then we blend them:
conviction = 40% technical + 35% momentum + 25% risk

- 30-day return: +25 if above +5%, −20 if below −5%
- 10-day return: +15 if above +2%, −10 if below −2%
Risk · 25% · starts at 70
- 20-day annualized volatility: −30 if above 45%, −15 if above 30%
- Drawdown from the recent peak: −25 if worse than −20%, −10 if worse than −10%
Each agent is clipped to 0–100, then blended. A name needs 72 or higher to qualify — trend, recent strength, and survivable volatility. One great score cannot carry two weak ones.
